Dialysis Access (Fistulia)
What is Dialysis Access?
By creating a connection between the artery and the vein in the forearm a fistula is created. This creates a circuit in the arm of high blood flow that is used to access blood in and out of the body and to pass it through a filtering machine before returning it into the body. This process is known as Dialysis.
What do we use Dialysis Access for?
Dialysis Access is used to treat Renal Failure.
