What is Renal Failure?
The kidneys function in the body is to filter out the blood from toxins that your body produces as part of its normal function. These toxins are secreted in the urine. The kidneys also manage the fluid status and balance of the body.
When the kidneys fail this function is lost and patients can die within days. There are many causes of renal failure including Hypertension (high blood pressure), Diabetes, Inflammation and Infection.
How do we treat Renal Failure?
Renal failure is a life-threatening condition and is treated with surgical intervention.
