Dr Shannon Thomas was born, raised and trained in Sydney. As a part of his training, he also spent time in Western Australia and completed further training in Italy and Germany.

Dr Thomas also has a commitment to the community of the Southern Highlands in his vascular service care in Bowral and operates regularly at Southern Highlands Private Hospital. He also consults and provides a venous intervention service in Neutral Bay at Baylife Medical.

In addition to his busy professional career, Dr Thomas is a fun and charismatic father of three, with an interest in all things ‘techy’. And he won’t stop talking about electric cars!

Vascular Surgeon

Dr Nedal Katib was born in Melbourne Australia, having completed his medical school in Dublin Ireland, attaining a degree in Medicine and Surgery. He completed his vascular surgical training in Australia and New Zealand, with a wide exposure to complex open and endovascular procedures.

He believes in excellence in surgery and maintaining a patient-centred approach. He also holds an academic post at the University of New South Wales and is committed to ongoing research to improve patient outcomes in vascular surgery.

Dr Katib’s favourite pass times include hiking, time with family, reading travelling as much as possible!

Practice Manager

Gaye has been working in vascular surgery practice management for over ten years. Her leadership skills and ability to communicate put her at the centre of our practice. Having come from a background in executive work and advertising, Gaye has an excellent ability to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently for all our patients.
