Avulsions
What are Avulsions?
Used for larger varicose veins, an incision is made over the bulging dilated varicose veins are made and through fine instruments these veins are ‘avulsed’ (meaning to pull or tear away).
The vein is then removed through an open surgical technique.
What do we use Avulsions for?
Avulsions are used to treat Varicose Veins.
